Mipa Paint Stripper/Remover Aerosol (400ML)

This spray is designed for removing old paint and varnish layers based on oil, nitrocellulose, dispersion, or synthetic resin. It is effective on common substrates such as stone, wood, and metal. It can also be applied to specific plastics including POM, PVC, PC, and PP EPDM. However, because materials vary, always perform a spot test on an inconspicuous area before applying it to the entire project. Please note that exotic woods may darken slightly upon contact.

For effective results, apply the spray uniformly and generously over the area you wish to treat. For thicker or multilayer coatings, we recommend applying a second generous coat. Allow a reaction time of approximately 20 minutes before using a spatula to check the progress of the dissolving paint. If the product dries out before the bottom coat has fully softened, simply reapply another layer to reactivate the stripping process. Once dissolved, remove the layers mechanically with a spatula.

Once you have mechanically removed the dissolved varnish and paint layers with a spatula, ensure the surface is completely clear of any residue. Depending on the substrate and the finish you intend to apply next, you may need to clean or degrease the area to ensure it is free from any remaining stripper or paint solids before you begin your next project.
