Airo-Chemie FIX Polyester Resin

Airo Chemie FIX is a high reactivity polyester resin engineered for structural repairs and manufacturing. When used in combination with fibreglass mats or tissue, it creates a robust bond perfect for automotive body repair or restoring damaged polyester components. This resin exhibits excellent adhesion across a variety of substrates including sheet steel, wood, chipboard, and fibreglass reinforced plastic materials, making it a versatile choice for both industrial and professional workshop applications.

To achieve the best results, ensure the surface is clean and roughened before applying. Mix the resin with the required hardener at a ratio of 100 parts FIX to 2 parts hardener, giving you a pot life of ten minutes. Apply a base layer, place your fibreglass tissue, and press it down with a brush. The repair will cure in 25 to 30 minutes, after which it can be levelled with a two component filler. Please note that this product is not suitable for use on zinc galvanised sheets or over wash primers and synthetic resin undercoats.
