Mipa Alu Chrome Spray (400ml)

Mipa Alu-Chrom Spray is a specialist high quality coating formulated with 99.5% pure aluminium. Unlike decorative metallic paints, this product is engineered for extreme performance, offering heat resistance up to 800°C and excellent anti-corrosive protection. It is also conductive and suitable for spot welding, making it an essential tool for automotive and industrial restoration where both heat resistance and metallic protection are required.

This spray is perfectly suited for metal components that operate in high temperature environments, such as exhaust systems, engine components, and various metal housings. Because it is highly resistant to acids and lyes, it provides an effective barrier for galvanised surfaces and other ferrous metals that require long term protection against corrosion.

Yes. While the coating becomes dust dry in about 10 minutes and reaches full hardness within 24 hours at room temperature, it requires a specific curing period if you intend to expose the part to high heat. Please ensure that you allow the paint to cure for at least 48 hours before subjecting the treated component to high temperature exposure. This helps ensure the coating performs as intended without compromising the integrity of the finish.
