WARNEX WB 74-2 Textured Lacquer 1K (Black)

WARNEX WB 74 1 is widely regarded as the professional standard for coating speaker cabinets. This waterborne, one pack texture coating is formulated specifically for the professional loudspeaker industry to provide a resilient, half matt finish on both wood and plastic enclosures. Its ability to create diverse structural effects, combined with its excellent durability, makes it the preferred choice for manufacturing and restoration projects.

Due to its rapid drying nature, this product requires a closed coating system, such as a pressure vessel or a double diaphragm pump with a lid attachment. We recommend using a 2.0mm nozzle on your spray gun to achieve the best results. This application method allows for efficient coverage and ensures the product maintains its consistency throughout the process, preventing the coating from drying prematurely within your spray equipment.

Success starts with meticulous surface preparation. The substrate must be clean, dry, and entirely free of dust, oil, and grease. Since there are many different plastic blends used in the audio industry, we strongly recommend conducting a preliminary adhesion test on a small, inconspicuous area before starting the main application to ensure the coating bonds correctly to your specific cabinet material.
