Application & Processing Guidelines
Substrate Preparation:
Clean, dry, and degrease surfaces thoroughly using Mipa Silikonentferner before every step.
De-rust defective spots down to bare metal and dry sand using P 80/150 paper.
Remove any uncured old paintwork or priming coats.

Incompatibility: Do not apply over thermoplastic or acid-based products (Reaktionsprimer).
Non-Ferrous Metals & Restorations: For aluminium, zinc-coated steel, or vintage car restorations, apply a priming coat of Mipa EP-Primer-Surfacer first to ensure maximum corrosion protection and optimal adhesion.
Mixing: Thoroughly mix Mipa E 80 Kaltzinn with Mipa Härter EPN at a 2 : 1 ratio by weight.
Application Conditions: Process from +10 °C and up to 80% relative humidity with adequate ventilation.
Sanding Guidelines:
Dry sand only
Initial dry sanding: P 150/240 grit paper.
Final dry sanding to a matt finish: P 240/360 grit paper prior to applying further body fillers or primers.
