Mipa MEKP Hardener is a liquid methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP) catalyst engineered for the reliable, high-performance curing of polyester resins, gelcoats, and heavy-duty fillers. Packaged in a compact 25ml container for precise, effortless dosing, it delivers strong, uniform cross-linking across automotive bodywork, marine boat repairs, and industrial composite applications.

Application & Processing Guidelines

Dosage: Carefully measure the liquid catalyst according to the technical data sheet of the resin being used (typically 1% to 2% under standard ambient conditions).

Mixing: Add MEKP to the liquid resin and stir thoroughly to ensure complete distribution throughout the mix.

Working Window: Once mixed, apply within the resin's specified pot life window (usually 10–20 minutes, depending on temperature and dosage).  

Safety & Handling: MEKP is an organic peroxide and strong oxidiser. Always wear appropriate eye protection, protective gloves, and work in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat and ignition sources.
