Application & Processing Guidelines
Substrate Preparation: Surfaces must be clean, dry, free from grease, and slightly sanded. Remove uncured old paintwork or reactive/acid primers.
Ferrous Metal: De-rust defective areas to bare metal and dry sand with P 80/150. Degrease thoroughly with Mipa Silikonentferner.
Non-Ferrous/Vintage Restorations: For non-ferrous metals (aluminium, galvanized steel) or maximum rust protection, prime with Mipa EP-Primer-Surfacer prior to filling.
Mixing: Mix 100 parts by weight of Mipa PX 9 with 2 parts by weight of Mipa Härter P hardener (do not exceed 3%, as incorrect dosage can cause spotting in the final coat).
Application Conditions: Apply at temperatures above +10 °C and relative air humidity up to 80%.
Sanding & Finishing:
Dry sand only.
Initial dry sanding: P 150/240.]
Final dry sanding to a matt finish: P 240/360 before applying filler coats.
