Monofil Fine Stopper is the ultimate solution for the final stage of bodywork preparation. Unlike bridging fillers or coarse body fillers, this "knife filler" is formulated with a fine grain texture specifically designed to fill minor irregularities, small scratches, and porosity left behind by previous repair stages.
It features a smooth, viscous consistency that spreads easily, allowing for a feather-edge finish that requires minimal sanding. Its advanced adhesion properties make it compatible with a wide variety of substrates, including difficult metals like zinc (galvanised) and aluminium, as well as fiberglass composites. The result is a non-porous, smooth surface that is perfectly prepped for priming and painting.
Suitable Substrates:
This fine stopper adheres perfectly to a wide range of prepared surfaces:
Metals: Iron, Steel, Tin, Aluminium, and Galvanised Metal (Zinc).
Composites: Glass fibre reinforced compounds (GRP/Fiberglass).
Important Restriction: Do not apply over thermoplastic coatings (TPA) or acid-containing products (such as Wash Primers). Surfaces must be cleaned and sanded before application.
