Monofil Lightweight Filler is a high-performance 2-component polyester filler characterized by its low density (< 1.1 g/ml) and exceptional ease of use. Unlike heavier standard fillers, its creamy texture allows for a smooth, pore-free application, creating a sealed surface that minimizes the risk of pinholes.
Designed for versatility, it bonds aggressively to a wide variety of substrates, including difficult non-ferrous metals like aluminium and zinc-coated sheets. Its formulation ensures rapid drying and easy sanding, making it an ideal choice for filling dents and irregularities while ensuring a high-quality foundation for the painting process.
Suitable Substrates:
This filler is designed for use on a variety of prepared surfaces:
Metals: Steel plates, Aluminium, and Zinced (Galvanised) metal sheets.
Composites: GRP (Glass Fibre Reinforced Plastic).
Important Restriction: Do not apply over thermoplastic coatings (TPA), acidic products (such as Wash Primers), or uncured primers.
