Why Choose Nebula Paints?
Mipa P 88 (Light Green) Hellgrün Self-Levelling Putty is a pourable, self-levelling two-component polyester finishing putty designed to create an ultra-smooth, varnish-like base coat. Engineered for application in thin and ultra-thin layers, its unique green-pigmented formula provides high hiding power, prevents topcoat sinkage, and requires minimal sanding work to achieve a flawless finish.

Application & Processing Guidelines
Substrate Preparation: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, free from grease, and slightly sanded. Remove uncured old paintwork or acid-based primers (Reaktionsprimer). Ferrous Metals: De-rust defective areas to bare metal and dry sand using P 80/150 paper. Degrease thoroughly with Mipa Silicon Remover Silikonentferner.
Non-Ferrous Metals & Restorations: For aluminium, galvanised steel, or vintage vehicle restorations, prime with Mipa EP-Primer-Surfacer before applying putty.
Mixing: Mix 100 parts by weight of Mipa P 88 with 2 parts by weight of Mipa Härter P hardener (do not exceed 3% hardener to avoid spotting in final paint coats).
Application Conditions: Work above +10 °C (polyester putties will not cure below +10 °C) and up to 80% relative air humidity.
Sanding & Isolation:
Dry sand only.
Initial dry sanding: P 150/240 grit.
Final dry sanding to a matt finish: P 240/360 grit before applying filler.
Always isolate with a Mipa 1K or 2K filler prior to topcoat application.
