Rosner Metallic Wood Stain – Water-Based Metallic Effect for Furniture & Interiors
Rosner Metallic Beize is a unique decorative stain that transforms natural timber with a shimmering metallic finish. Unlike standard dyes, this stain utilizes special micronized pigments that settle into the wood grain, highlighting the natural structure with a distinct metallic luster.
It is engineered for use in furniture construction and interior fittings where a high-end, modern look is required. While compatible with various wood types, it performs best on coarse-pored woods such as Oak and Ash, where the metallic pigments accumulate in the pores to create a striking contrast. The stain is water-based, ready to use, and creates a surface that must be sealed with a clear topcoat.
Suitable Substrates:
Ideal Woods: Large-porous woods such as Oak and Ash (for best contrast).
Other Woods: Solid woods and veneers (Small-porous woods can be used but with less contrast).
Restrictions: Not suitable for exotic woods rich in active substances (oils/resins).
Preparation: Wood must be dry, clean, and free from resin and oil. Sand with grain P150.
