The RP version is optimised for speed, providing high performance and high pressure technology that is compliant with regulations while maintaining a fast working pace. The HVLP version is designed for lower pressure application, offering maximum transfer efficiency, which is ideal if you are looking to save on material costs or need to meet strict environmental compliance mandates. Both versions deliver an exceptional finish, so the choice depends on your preference for speed versus material efficiency.

The nozzle size should be selected based on the viscosity of the paint you are applying and your personal preference for flow rate. The 1.3mm nozzle is typically preferred for applying basecoats, as it provides finer atomisation and better control. The 1.4mm nozzle offers a higher flow rate, which is often favoured for clearcoats or if you are working with slightly thicker materials that require a faster application speed to achieve the desired film build.

The SATAjet 1500 B SoLV allows for fully variable control. You can adjust the material flow using the material flow control knob; loosening the counter nut allows you to increase or decrease the needle stroke to set your desired paint volume. For the spray fan, use the round and flat fan control on the side of the body. Turning it to the right produces a round fan pattern, while turning it to the left creates a flat fan. Always test your settings on a piece of paper or scrap material before applying to your final project.
